Questions about pricing
Are there any monthly fees?
No. Listing your space is free and there are no subscriptions.
Are there fees on top of the price I see?
No. Every price on the site already includes our service fee and the card processing cost, so the total at checkout is not higher than the listing led you to expect. Hosts are paid their own price in full.
Why is every price a round number?
We round prices up to the nearest $5, or the nearest $10 over $1,000, so a listing reads as a price rather than as arithmetic. The whole of that rounding is donated to the host's chosen charity, on top of the 6% of the host's price we already give. We keep none of it, and clause 9.3A of our terms is our promise not to.
How do advertisers pay?
Securely by card at the time of booking. Payment is only taken once the host accepts the request.
What about GST?
Displayed prices are in NZD. Hosts are responsible for their own GST obligations. This is not tax advice, so please check with your accountant.
