Why events list with us

The whole town turns out, and every business wants to be part of it

A Christmas parade is the one day every family in town lines the main street. Businesses already enter floats and give prizes. List it all and let them book it.

  • Sponsors find you

Local businesses browse what your event offers and ask to back it. No more committee members ringing round the same five businesses every year.

  • Every sponsorship priced

A ribbon, a station, a prize or the whole naming rights, each with its own price and booked online. Nobody has to wait for a proposal.

  • Local businesses, local crowd

The businesses that book want to be seen by every family in town, which is exactly who comes to your event.

What you can list

Floats, characters and prizes

List each one on its own, for the dates it runs. You set the price for each.

In the parade

  • Float sponsor

Their name along the side of a float, all the way down the main street.

  • Character sponsor

Santa, the elves or the reindeer, brought to you by the sponsor.

  • Walking group sponsor

A marching band or dance group in the sponsor's t-shirts.

  • Enter a business float

Room in the parade for their own float.

Around the parade

  • Best float prize

The prize and the certificate, presented by the sponsor.

  • Lolly sponsor

Every lolly handed out comes from them.

  • Pre-parade sampling

A stall at the start or finish to meet the crowd.

Look after your sponsors

What a business gets from backing your parade

Add any of these to a listing so a business can see exactly what they get. Sponsors who feel thanked are the ones who come back next year.

  • Presenting the prizes

The sponsor hands out Best Float on the day.

  • Thanked by the MC

Named over the speakers as their float goes past.

  • In the newspaper photos

Floats and prizegivings are what the local paper prints.

  • Posts on your socials

Thanked before and after the parade.

How it works

It's this easy

  1. 1

    List it

A photo and a price. Free.

  2. 2

    They find you

A local advertiser books your space.

  3. 3

    Advert arrives

It's sent to you or dropped in.

  4. 4

    Put it up

Snap a quick photo so they know it's up.

  5. 5

    You beauty!

All done. The money goes to your bank.

You never design or print a thing. The advert is always supplied to you.

Supporting local

Every booking gives to a charity you choose.

Pick a local cause that matters to you, and every time a business books one of your sponsorships a donation goes to it. It never comes out of your pocket.

Does it cost anything to list?

No. Listing is free, there is no monthly fee and no lock-in contract. You are paid the full price you set.

What should we charge?

Up to you. Most NZ events never publish prices, so having every sponsorship priced and bookable online already puts you ahead. Small named things like a ribbon, a station or a prize often start from $50 to $500.

Do we have to take every sponsor who asks?

No. You see who the business is and what they want before you say yes, and you can decline anyone who does not suit your event.

We only run once a year. Is it worth it?

Yes. List each sponsorship for the dates it runs, and it comes down when the event is over. List it again next year in a couple of minutes.
