Why events list with us

Celebrations that bring the whole community together

Matariki, Diwali, lantern festivals and Polyfest bring families together across the whole community. Local businesses want to support them, respectfully, and just need to be asked.

  • Sponsors find you

Local businesses browse what your event offers and ask to back it. No more committee members ringing round the same five businesses every year.

  • Every sponsorship priced

A ribbon, a station, a prize or the whole naming rights, each with its own price and booked online. Nobody has to wait for a proposal.

  • Local businesses, local crowd

The businesses that book want to be seen by the whole community, together, which is exactly who comes to your event.

What you can list

Supporters, zones and the programme

List each one on its own, for the dates it runs. You set the price for each.

  • Zero waste sponsor

Back the bins, the cups and the clean-up.

  • Supply or volunteer team

Support in kind: gear, food or a team of volunteers.

On the night

  • Family zone sponsor

The lantern making, games and activities tent.

  • Stage sponsor

Thanked from the stage between performances.

  • Programme acknowledgement and ad

In the printed programme everyone keeps.

Look after your sponsors

What a business gets from backing your festival

Add any of these to a listing so a business can see exactly what they get. Sponsors who feel thanked are the ones who come back next year.

  • Thanked from the stage

Acknowledged in front of the whole crowd.

  • Named in the programme

In print and on the website.

  • Priority seating

Seats for their whanau and team.

  • Posts on your socials

    Thanked before and after.

How it works

It's this easy

  1. 1

    List it

A photo and a price. Free.

  2. 2

    They find you

A local advertiser books your space.

  3. 3

    Advert arrives

It's sent to you or dropped in.

  4. 4

    Put it up

Snap a quick photo so they know it's up.

  5. 5

    You beauty!

All done. The money goes to your bank.

You never design or print a thing. The advert is always supplied to you.

Supporting local

Every booking gives to a charity you choose.

Pick a local cause that matters to you, and every time a business books one of your sponsorships a donation goes to it. It never comes out of your pocket.

Does it cost anything to list?

No. Listing is free, there is no monthly fee and no lock-in contract. You are paid the full price you set.

What should supporters pay?

Up to you. Supporter tiers at NZ cultural festivals often start around $500, with in-kind support for those who would rather give gear, food or time.

Do we have to accept every supporter?

No. You see who the business is first, and you can decline anyone who does not fit the kaupapa of your festival.

We only run once a year. Is it worth it?

Yes. List each sponsorship for the dates it runs, and it comes down when the event is over. List it again next year in a couple of minutes.
