For cricket clubs

A whole summer of Saturdays, sponsored.

List Player of the Day, grade team and shirt sponsorships once, and local businesses ask to back your club all summer. You approve every one, and the money goes straight to the club.

  • Free to list
  • You approve every sponsor
  • Money straight to the club

Why clubs list with us

Long days, a crowd that stays, and a pavilion full at tea

Cricket keeps people at the ground longer than any other sport, and families come back every weekend from October to March. That is exactly what a local business wants. List what you have and let them ask.

  • New sponsors find you

Local businesses browse what your cricket club offers and ask to back you. No more committee members ringing round the same five businesses every pre-season.

  • More money for the juniors

Grade and junior sponsors pay for the bowling machine, new kit bags and keeping junior fees within reach of every family.

  • Closer ties with local business

Every sponsor becomes part of the club: they come down on a Saturday, they get thanked in front of everyone, and the members return the favour by shopping with them.

What you can list

Every grade, the whole summer

List each one on its own, by the week, the month or the whole season. You set the price for each.

Look after your sponsors

What a sponsor gets from your club, not just a logo

Add any of these to a listing so a business can see exactly what backing you gets them. Sponsors who feel part of the club are the ones who come back next season.

  • A beer and a meal on Saturday

Afternoon tea and a drink after stumps on home days, with the players they back.

  • Thanked out loud

Thanked at prizegiving and in the pavilion after the big games.

  • A flag at the entrance

Their flag at the ground entrance every home Saturday.

  • A sign in the clubrooms

A framed sign in the pavilion among the honours boards.

  • Posts on the club's socials

Their logo on scorecards posted online and a thank you post when they sign up.

  • A T20 night of their own

One home T20 game named after the sponsor, with their team invited down.

How it works

It's this easy

  1. 1

    List it

A photo and a price. Free.

  2. 2

    They find you

A local advertiser books your space.

  3. 3

    Advert arrives

It's sent to you or dropped in.

  4. 4

    Put it up

Snap a quick photo so they know it's up.

  5. 5

    You beauty!

All done. The money goes to your bank.

You never design or print a thing. The advert is always supplied to you.

Supporting local

Every booking gives to a charity you choose.

Pick a local cause the club cares about, and every time a business books one of your sponsorships a donation goes to it. It never comes out of the club's pocket, and it is something to tell your members about at prizegiving.

Does it cost the club anything?

No. Listing is free, there is no monthly fee and no lock-in contract. The club is paid the full price it sets.

What should we charge?

Up to you. Real New Zealand club price lists usually run from about $100 to $500 for the small things, $1,000 to $2,500 for team and kit sponsors, and $3,000 and up for naming rights. Start there and adjust.

Do we have to take every sponsor who asks?

No. You see who the business is before you say yes, and you can decline anyone who does not fit the club.

Our season is summer only. Is it worth it?

Yes. List by the season. Plenty of businesses want summer, when people are outdoors and spending.

We share the ground. Can we still list signs?

List what the club controls, like the scorebox, the pavilion and your own kit. Check anything on council land with the council first.
